The ALEAP Manual is the compilation of what Arkansas law enforcement professionals believe are basic business practices needed to address the most critical tasks of law enforcement in our state. The standards were developed to ensure appropriate protection of citizen’s rights, to improve the safety of public safety employees, and ensure the operational and professional integrity of a law enforcement entity. This manual includes the Standards and Glossary which are updated from time to time when legal or environmental changes necessitate.
